A Winter Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service in Blacksburg remained in effect for some areas into Tuesday, with patches of black ice expected as snow from the weekend storm melts and refreezes. The storm dumped upwards of two feet of snow in some areas of Patrick County, according to unofficial reports.
