Stuart residents who want to run for the Stuart Town Council or seek the office of mayor have until 7 p.m. on June 14 to file, according to Patrick Registrar Susan Taylor.
The office of mayor and two town council seats will be on the ballot in November, along with the presidential election.
Mayor Ray Weiland has filed his paperwork to seek re-election, Taylor said. Council members John “Mac” Deekens and Leon Puckett have also filed their candidacies.
