Marolyne Nabors, 72, of Meadows of Dan passed away June 4, 2020 at the Joan and Howard Woltz
Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. She had just recently been diagnosed with cancer.
Marolyne was born in Norfolk, VA and had lived in many places before settling in the community of
Meadows of Dan, which she dearly loved.
Marolyne is survived by her daughters Rachel Nabors and Abelina Nabors Scott and by her
granddaughter Camille Scott-Potter. She is also survived by two sisters.
There will be no funeral service or burial as Marolyne has donated her remains to the University of
Tennessee, Knoxville for forensic studies.
If one would like to honor her memory, a donation to the Patrick County Library/Book Mobile, the
Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home or the Patrick County Animal Shelter would be appreciated.
She would have liked this.
