50 Year Celebration

Members of the CCDF Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad celebrate 50 years service to the community on Saturday in Dry Pond. The CCDF Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad celebrated 50 years of serving the community on Saturday, with performers that included Too Young Too Old, Almost There and Marcie Horne. The event attracted many people with food, fun and lots of antics. The CCDF began a fire department only in 1967. The rescue squad was added in 1972. Dedicated volunteers continue serving their community.  (Photos by Linda Hylton)
