Mr. & Mrs. Harvey H. Roop, of Patrick Springs, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a private family dinner and weekend getaway.
They were married at Bassett Church of the Brethren on April 10, 1971, by the late Rev. Price E. Bowman.
Mrs. Roop is the former Darlene Underwood. The Roops have a daughter, Andrea Amos and her husband Mike; and a son, Adam Roop, and his wife Alicia. They also have one grandson, Parker Roop.
The Roops are both are enjoying retirement.
