Mr. David Aaron Leviner, age 58, of Stuart, Virginia traded his earthly life for his eternal home in Heaven on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy. He was born in Danville, Virginia on October 2, 1964, to Pastor Terry Edison Leviner and Doris Ward Leviner-Smith. In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard Calvin Leviner and Etta Hatcher Leviner, and maternal grandparents, George Clegg Ward and Mary Lilly Ward. David was known as “Papa” to all the children that knew him. He was a hard worker, working in tree work for over 35 years. David loved BBQ, softball, derby racing, the beach, Gatlinburg, Tennessee; and taking special day trips with his family. David loved the Lord and was a member of Minnie’s Chapel Wesleyan Church. He was always the life of the party, would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need (or a $5 bill), loved his evening motorcycle rides, loved adventures, was an open-minded free thinker, was known for Saturday morning breakfast with his mom, and thoroughly enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. David will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish the memories of David Leviner are his devoted wife, Terri Collins Leviner of the home; four sons and daughters-in-law, Joshua Leviner (Rebecca) of Collinsville, Virginia, Daniel Leviner (Kayla) of Stuart, Virginia, Dustin Dalton (Kellie) of Stuart, Virginia, and Tommy Dalton (Shelby) of Stuart, Virginia; ten grandchildren, Terry, Peyton, Mason, Dallas, Caroline, Connor, Patrick, Avery, Ellie, and Isla; his loving mother, Doris Ward Leviner-Smith of Stuart, Virginia; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Eddie Leviner (Donna) of Gastonia, North Carolina, Mark Leviner (Lynell) of Stuart, Virginia, Judson Leviner (Melody) of York, South Carolina; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

A funeral service for David Leviner will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Reverend Gary Combs, Reverend Kenneth Terry, and Darrell Dodson officiating. Burial will follow the service in Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday evening. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8
