Military, law enforcement, fire and rescue, teachers and other civil servants will be honored Sunday, Sept. 10, at Trinity Baptist Church in Stuart.

The annual event begins at 10:30 a.m. at the church, which is located at Trinity Christian School, 14 Gammons Road, Stuart.

Gary Hunt, who is among the organizers, said the annual event has been going on for a number of years as a way to “say Thank you to law enforcement and all the civil servants,” and let them know their service is appreciated.

Hunt said generally, “we have a real good turnout,” with not only law enforcement officers, but emergency services personnel, firefighters and others.

A barbeque lunch will follow the service, Hunt said.

A nursery also will be provided onsite.
