Parent Resources for Information, Development, and Education (PRIDE) pre-service training provides information needed to make an informed decision about adoption and foster parenting.
Virginia requires completion of pre-service training and assessments, along with a background check. Pre-service training is a series of training sessions. All sessions will be held at Patrick Henry Community College, 212 Wood Brothers Drive, Stuart, in room 103.
Training sessions will be held on May 21 and 28; June 4, 11, and 18, from 6 to 9 p.m.
All sessions are required and not suitable for young children.
