The Jonathan Bowling Memorial Ride was held on Saturday. In spite of a misty rain, there was a good turnout. It’s always so beautiful to see all the motorcycles coming down Hwy. 58 to honor Jonathan.
I enjoyed Sunday lunch at Charles and Gloria Biggs’ home with the Martin family.

To the reader that called about the mandarin orange cake, I hope it turned out well. My sister-in-law makes it a lot. It is delicious!
Household hint: saving bread: instead of throwing away the heels from a loaf of bread, toast them and put in the food processor to make bread crumbs. Store in an airtight container so they are handy whenever a recipe calls for fine bread crumbs.
PIZZA CASSEROLE
1 lb. ground hamburger
1 1/2 cups cooked macaroni, drained
1 jar pizza sauce
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 package pepperoni, divided
1-2 cups mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown hamburger; drain the grease. Mix together hamburger, macaroni, pizza sauce, onion and pepper. Cut some pepperoni into small pieces and add to other ingredients. Pour into baking casserole pan and cover with pepperoni and cheese. Bake in oven for about 15 to 30 minutes or until cheese is melted.
