Here we are again, and life isn’t back to normal yet because of “The Virus” and cases are flaring up. Be safe, be as careful as you can- and pray hard.
It sure did make my day on Saturday brighter when neighbors Dennis and Mary Simmons came by and Roscoe the dog was along. Thanks for the bread and peach preserves. They are so delicious. As I’ve said before, I’m surely eating well and am blessed.
The Food Ministry at church has gotten a lot of food lately, and people wanting to help. A nice gentleman came by and said he wanted to help and see what we were doing. A big load of food had just arrived — potatoes, pinto beans by the 100 lbs., so he came out at a good time and his help was appreciated
Thanks to Donald Willard and Liam for mowing my yard. I was glad to get to talk with Liam for a few minutes. He wanted to know about the food ministry and he also said he would love to see it. Maybe one day he can. Hope so.
It was a blessing to go to On The Run and get my gas, chicken sandwich, and a big Mountain Dew. Thanks to everyone there for being so nice. I hope I can eat inside soon and get some good food off the bar.
Sure, did enjoy talking to a nice lady down Mount Airy way. It made my day. Thank you and call again.
Thanks to Keith Medley for getting my trash. It’s a big help to me. Buddy, his dog, is going strong, as busy as ever.
On Tuesday, a knock came on my door. I looked out and the UPS man was walking up the driveway and the package was on the porch. When I opened it, I was really surprised. It was Lock Boyce’s book (Thanks to Beverly, Mark and Blue) It’s a big book, so I’ll be reading for a while. I’ll always cherish the last time I saw Lock and we sat and talked about our loved ones that have gone on. He remembered the loss of my beloved Ronald and Chris.
Yvonne S. Tucher of Charlotte, N.C. wrote me a nice letter. It’s always so good to hear form her. I’ll try to answer her soon. She used to come on the mountain a lot to their place, especially when her husband was living.
Until next time stay safe as you can. God bless each one of you readers of The Enterprise.
Food for thought- When we allow ourselves to be filled with God’s love, his love reaches out through us to others in amazing ways. 1st John 4:11 says, “Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another.”

Hint — This fall when you are shopping at flea markets, look for vintage candy molds in Santa, reindeer, and snowman shapes. Then you can use them to make your holiday cookies.
