obit osborneDavid Jackson Osborne Jr., age 49, of Stuart, died on Tuesday, July 19, 2016.
He was born in Welch, W.Va., on June 19, 1967. He was preceded in death by his father, David Jackson Osborne Sr.
He enjoyed playing guitar and singing. He had traveled with several gospel groups in West Virginia. His passion in life was his children. He was a kind and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.
Surviving are his loving wife, Renee Pendleton Osborne of the home; one daughter, Meghan Osborne of Cana; two sons, Oren Osborne and Jackson Osborne, both of the home; one grandson, Micah Hayes; his mother and stepfather, Retha Mills Osborne Moore and James Moore of Ridgeway; two sisters, Melissa Adkins of Bassett and Melinda Campbell of Winter Haven, Fla.; and three nieces, Devan Adkins, Julia Biggs, and Jordan Biggs.
Funeral services were held on Monday at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Gerald Melton officiating. Burial was private.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Smith River Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 122, Woolwine, Va., 24185.
