Dr. Angeline Godwin, president of Patrick Henry Community College, is a finalist for the same position at Central Piedmont Community College (N.C.).
CPCC announced that she is one of five finalists for the position. Dr. Tony Zeiss, CPCC president for 23 years, will be retiring once a successor is named.
Dr. Godwin informed PHCC faculty and staff of the announcement on Monday. She has served in her capacity since July 1, 2012 and was nominated and recruited to apply for the CPCC position.
