Mrs. Annie Kate Vipperman Roberts, age 93 of Stuart, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart. She was born in Patrick County on June 2, 1928 to the late Posey Elmer Vipperman, Sr. and Laura Kate Underwood Vipperman. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Roberts; nine siblings, Elva Vipperman Fain, Charles M. Vipperman, Raymond A. Vipperman, Warren Vipperman, Nannie Ruth Vipperman Terry, Calvin Vipperman, Leon Vipperman, Herman Vipperman, and Dorothy Vipperman Lyons. She loved animals and her church, Critz Baptist Church. She loved being a Grandma and having her family around her, and she loved everyone, especially children.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by one daughter, Karen Anne Roberts of Stuart; three grandchildren, Tiffany Harbour and husband, Daniel of Spencer, Tanner Wigington and Jeremiah Wigington, both of Rock Hill, South Carolina; two great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Harbour and Alainah Harbour; a sister, Mary Boyd of Tallahassee, Florida; a brother, Posey E. Vipperman, Jr. of Roanoke; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Roberts on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Critz Baptist Church Cemetery.
