Hope Perry was named principal of Patrick County High School.
Perry has 23 years of experience as an educator, six of which have been in administration. She has served at the district level as the Secondary Math and Science Curriculum Coordinator and most recently as the Principal at Fieldale-Collinsville Middle School in Henry County.
“I had many great years of teaching math at Patrick County High School and look forward to this opportunity to return and make a positive impact on the students in this community. I want students and staff to feel worthy, valued, and welcome at Patrick County High School so that they can reach their highest potential and together we can create a positive school culture and family atmosphere at PCHS.”
Perry has 17 years of experience as a classroom teacher, nine of which were at Patrick County High School in the Math Department. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Math from Averett University, a master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Radford University, and she received her Administration & Supervision Licensure from James Madison University.
She is married to Jason Perry, and they live in Spencer. Their children are Nate and Abby Perry, of Daleville, Virginia, and Sadie Leigh Perry, of Spencer.
