BREAKFAST: (Free to all students) Grab and Go carts in each school; traditional breakfast in dining room: Mon.: French toast breakfast bar, biscuit and gravy; Tues:: breakfast pizza; Wed.: chicken biscuit; Thurs.: Dutch waffle; Fri.: mini maple pancakes, scrambled eggs and toast. Cereal, toast, Pop Tart, string cheese, assorted fruit and juice, and a choice of milk are offered daily. The student must select three food items, including at least 1/2 cup fruit, to have a reimbursable meal.
LUNCH: Mon.: Barbecue on bun or white chicken chili, Tostitos, chicken flavored rice, green beans, coleslaw, tomato/cucumber salad, fruit cup or fresh fruit; Tues: popcorn chicken and roll or deviled eggs and roll, green beans, mashed potatoes, fruit cup/fresh fruit; Wed.: ham or meatloaf, cornbread, macaroni and cheese, green peas, honey roasted sweet potatoes, fruit cup/fresh fruit; Thurs.: pizza or chicken fajita with cheese, chicken flavored rice, sautéed peppers and onions, lettuce, tomato, salsa, corn salad, fruit cup/fresh fruit; Fri.: toasted cheese sandwich or ham jalapeno wrap, Cougar soup and crackers, vegetables with ranch dip, fruit cup/fresh fruit, cookie. WOW butter sandwiches (with or without jelly), toasted cheese sandwiches, chef’s salad, tossed salads, and a choice of milk are offered daily. The student must select three food components, including at least 1/2 cup fruit or vegetable to have a reimbursable meal.
