The Patrick County Tourism Office, working in conjunction with the Tourism Advisory Council and the Patrick County Lodging Association, is pleased to announce the launch of Patrick County’s own online booking engine, powered by the services of Regatta Travel of Charlottesville.
The engine opens the many properties of Patrick County up to the billions of Internet users across the globe.
County Tourism Director Joseph Quesenberry said,“The capability to book your entire stay in Patrick County is essential to the growth of our tourism Industry. This is a service that very few localities have the capability of providing, with only Patrick County and Abingdon providing this service out of the 19 counties and four cities across Southwest Virginia.”
Other localities in Virginia that provide this service through Regatta are Virginia Beach, Charlottesville, and Lynchburg.
Patrick County is unique in that it currently has no chain properties, and only a select few have online booking capabilities. This service currently allows for online room booking for 29 properties across the county.
