All election offices in Virginia will be open for in-person absentee voting on Saturday, November 5, for the November 8 general election.
Saturday absentee voting provides Virginia voters who are qualified to vote absentee with an additional opportunity to cast their ballot in person. In-person absentee voting also is available during local registrars’ normal business hours.
More than 367,000 voters have applied for an absentee ballot. Absentee voting began in September, and already more than 220,000 Virginia voters have cast their absentee ballots, including over 128,000 who voted in person at local registrars’ offices.
The deadline to return absentee ballots by mail is on Election Day, November 8.
