Patrick County played in a district match at Beaver Creek Golf Club August 29.
The Cougars shot a team score of 298, giving them a 3rd place finish after Halifax with a score of 290 and Magna Vista with a score of 291. Wesley Roberson shot a 70 for the Cougars followed by Jalen Hagwood’s score of 74. Jordan Harris shot a 75, and Chance Corns shot a 79.
Coach Philip Steagall said the match represented “our best round of the season as a team. We are playing well as a team. We just need to keep working hard as we start the last couple of weeks of our season.”
