Patricia Ann Handy Bowman, 74, passed away on Saturday February 25, 2023, at The Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart, VA. She was born on August 13, 1948, in Patrick Springs, VA. to the late Fred Dudley Handy and the late Vesta “Hawks” Handy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, J.C. Handy and J.D Handy.
She was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Bowman was a friend to all she met. Before her retirement, she worked at Bassett Furniture Office as a Data Processor.
She is survived by one sister, Rosa Lee Bocock of Patrick Springs, VA, three nieces, Kim H Cassell (Gary), Kerri H Mays (Daryl), Kathy B Michaels (Herschel), one nephew, Dwayne Bocock and several great nieces and nephews.
There will be a Graveside Service at the Handy Family Cemetery in Patrick Springs, VA at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 4, 2023, with Rev. J.D. Harmon officiating.
