The Patrick County Greenteam and Rotary Club of Stuart organized a roadside litter pick up on Saturday, March 18. With orange trash bags in hand, the group of 33 volunteers, ages 7 – 70, successfully removed 1,360 pounds of litter along a two-mile stretch of Ararat Highway. Organizers applauded the community-minded representatives from Blue Ridge Bull Dogs, Erica Wade, Nancy Belcher, Rotary members, and the Patrick County Greenteam. (Contributed photos)
