The PCHS Varsity Golf Team opened their first season in the Three Rivers District, August 10th at Olde Mill Golf Club.
The Cougars shot a 372 in their 5th place finish in the match that was won by Floyd County who shot a 327. Chance Corns led the Cougars with an 88. Parker Roop shot a 92, Lauren Worley shot a 94, and Carter Gregory shot a 98.
“Our first match in a new district on a wet and tough course,” said Coach Philip Steagall. “We are looking forward to a good season as we adjust to playing courses that we have not played on in this new district.”
