Leon was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening.  He loved spending time with his family and listening to and watching his granddaughter sing and perform. He attended Middle Cross Missionary Baptist Church for several years.

Surviving is his loving wife of 60 years, Phyllis Hawks Holt of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Darryl and Michelle Holt of Stuart; one daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Bill Hutchens of Stuart; one granddaughter, Olivia Jo; and several other family members and special friends.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 20, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Mike Morrison officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home of his daughter, Vicky Hutchens. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
