Ronald Davis Wood

Ronald Davis Wood, 79, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Clemmons Village II. He was born in Patrick County, VA on August 20, 1945, to the late Clifford and Bernice Roberson Wood.

Mr. Wood was a collector of Ford Falcons and was an early member of the Ford Falcon Club. He also collected antique vintage toys. Mr. Wood enjoyed attending races with the Wood Brothers and family during the 70’s and 80’s. He enjoyed several activities throughout his life including both work and recreation. Ron was a wonderful father and friend.

Surviving is his wife of 48 years, Peggy Jessup Wood; daughter, Shannon Wood Cornwell; son, Darin Wood and a brother, Benjamin Wood. There will be no formal service at this time. Thank you to each and every staff member at Clemmons Village II for their wonderful care and love they have shown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
