Daylin Blevins is a rising 8th grader from Meadows of Dan Elementary. She is an exceptional student who truly represents the qualities of the DAR Youth Citizen Award. Daylin is actively involved in the Junior Beta Club, showing her commitment to academic excellence and service. She is also an incredibly talented writer whose creativity and skill earned her recognition as winner of the prestigious Patriot’s Pen Essay contest. She also plays recreation volleyball. Daylin’s strong character, positive attitude, and willingness to encourage others make her a role model among her peers. She exemplifies citizenship through her hard work, integrity, and dedication to making a positive impact in everything she does. She is the daughter of Sarina Johnson and John Blevins.
