It is our honor to recognize Taelyn Blankenship as this year’s recipient of the Daughters of the American Revolution Award.

Taelyn hopes to one day become a registered nurse and attend Virginia Tech, where she can continue pursuing her goals of helping others and making a positive impact in her community.

As the youngest of three siblings, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing Roblox in her free time, and enjoying her favorite foods—her mom’s taco salad and homemade spaghetti. Her favorite color is teal, a fitting choice for someone with such a vibrant and positive personality.

Through her leadership, academic success, faith, and compassion for others, Taelyn truly represents the qualities honored by the Daughter of the American Revolution Award.
