Aaron Eugene “Gene” Trent, 73, of Patrick Springs, died on Friday, May 13, 2016, at his home.
He was born in Patrick County and was a son of the late Ivory Shough and George Goode Trent.
He was a member of Patrick Springs Holiness Church and worked for American Furniture until he retired.
Surviving are his son, Tony Trent and wife Lena of Patrick Springs; one sister, Nancy Greer and husband Perry E. of Patrick Springs; three brothers, George Leonard Trent and wife Arlene, Larry Maynard “Hoss” Trent and wife Vernel, and Cecil Leon Trent and wife Linda, all of Patrick Springs; three stepsons, many beloved nephews and nieces, one grandson, one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter.
The funeral was held Sunday at Norris Funeral Services in Stuart with Dr. Marion Poytress and Dr. David Sparks officiating. Burial was in Providence Community Cemetery.
