Aldie Junior “Buck” Pack, 78, of Norman Road, Mount Airy, N.C., died Tuesday afternoon, November 1, 2016, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, N.C.
He was born November 18, 1937, in Surry County, N.C., a son of the late Elijah and Elsie McMillian Pack. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Pack Bond; and a sister, Kathleen Epperson.
He had retired from Bassett Furniture after many years of service.
Surviving are three daughters, Doris Ann Pack of Winston-Salem, N.C., Beatrice Pack of Ararat, and Michelle Hall of Mount Airy, N.C.; two sons, David Junior Pack of Ararat and Jeffery Pack of Andrews, S.C.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bell Jones of Mount Airy and Barbara JoAnn Pack of Ararat; two brothers, Lloyd Gene and Barbara Ann Pack of Mount Airy and Jimmy Columbus Pack of Pilot Mountain, N.C.; and a special niece, Rachel Thomas of Mount Airy.
Funeral services were held Friday at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Brother Don Collins and the Rev. Rickey Martin officiating. Burial was in the Indian Grove Family Cemetery.
