Amy Lynn Midkiff Grinnan, age 57, passed away on May 16, 2025 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Amy died following a three-year battle with cancer. She was born in Stuart, Virginia on July 10, 1967, the daughter of Bruce and Mary Lou Midkiff. As an infant, Amy relocated with her family to the Fredericksburg area where she spent her childhood and adult years. She was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Midkiff and her husband, Douglas Grinnan.
Left to cherish her memory are her son John W. Grinnan, her mother Mary Lou Midkiff and her sister Melba Howard and husband Doug. Amy is also survived by her aunt, Nancy Midkiff and aunt and uncle, Herbert and lmogene Hall and numerous cousins.
