Ann Cassady Corns, 84, of Martinsville, VA died on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Sovah Health in Martinsville, VA. She was born on January 21, 1937 to the late Ida Rogers Cassady and Kelsey Cassady in Patrick County, Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Loranzy Akers Corns: one son, Lonnie Corns: four sisters, Margaret Campbell, Hazel Wagoner, Louise Martin, Madeline Corns: seven brothers, Akers Cassady, Drewry Cassady, Junior Cassady, Ralph Cassady, Lee Cassady, Elmo Cassady and Johnny Cassady.
She was a member of Community Baptist Church and worked at Pannill Knitting for thirty eight years before her retirement.
Surviving are one daughter, Brenda Corns Dennis and husband Dean of Patrick Springs, VA : one grand-daughter, Kathy Corns and two great-grandsons.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Norris Funeral Services in Stuart with Carson Williams officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Norris Chapel in Stuart, VA.
