Imagine being involved in rice harvesting in Thailand, experiencing advances in dairy farming in Switzerland, or enjoying similar opportunities in more than 15 other countries. An experience with IFYE can bring you this and more. The IFYE Association of the USA, Inc., formerly known as the International Farm Youth Exchange (IFYE) is a 72-year-old international exchange program for young adults age 19 and above. The organization is now accepting applications for its 2021 international exchange program.
The application is available on the IFYE Association website: www.ifyeusa.org. It takes less than 30 minutes to complete and submit. The IFYE National Program Director will then follow up with you to begin the next steps toward your international experience. Those, 19 years of age and older, who complete the application will be interviewed for the limited number of 2021 international exchange opportunities.
Founded in 1948, the IFYE Association of the USA, Inc. provides cultural exchange programming that places participants with multiple host families during a two- three- or six-month period in countries around the world and the U.S. IFYE representatives experience once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to gain understanding of the culture and lifestyle from those they live with while in the program. IFYE exchanges are conducted in collaboration with international, U.S., state and local coordinators and are facilitated by the IFYE Association of the USA, Inc. The IFYE motto of “Peace through Understanding” continues to touch the lives of people around the world. To learn more visit www.ifyeusa.org.
