Audit information to be presented

Information about the county’s audit will be presented to the Patrick County Board of Supervisors at their meeting on Dec. 10.

Scott Wickham, of Robinson, Farmer, Cox Associates, will present the information, according to the agenda.

The board also is slated to hear from David Rose, senior vice president of Davenport & Company LLC, who will present a financial plan, the agenda showed.

The board also is set to consider requesting Del. Charles Poindexter, R-Glade Springs, to file a bill and raise the sales tax by one (1) cent, with proceeds go to localities

In other matters, the board also will:
*Consider a request to provide filings of legal documents related to CLT USA, LLC to be entered into the public record;
*A report on waste management
* A report by Sandra Belcher, director of tourism;
* A resolutions of support for an ARC grant; a VDOT Transportation Alternative Grant for Meadows of Dan sidewalk and trail, and a JEB Stuart Day.
* Meeting in closed session to discuss personnel, legal, contract and real estate matters.
The meeting commences at 6 p.m. in the third floor conference room of the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Building.
