The Patrick and Stokes county barn quilt committees are offering a tour of barn quilts throughout the counties on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost of the tour includes a narrated tour and catered lunch at the Byron Barn in Walnut Cove.

Participants may choose to start in Walnut Cove or in Stuart.

North Carolina riders will ride through Walnut Cove, Germanton and King before arriving at the Byron Barn for the Barn Quilt Bonanza Festival and lunch.

Stuart riders will work their way down to the Barn to join the others for lunch and the festival. After lunch, riders will switch buses and tour the other areas.

For more information or to purchase tickets, please call the Reynolds Homestead at (276) 694-7181. Pickup information will be provided at registration. All participants must have a pre-purchased ticket.

Enjoy the Barn Quilt Bus Tour and learn about the barn quilts in Stokes and Patrick counties such as the Ayers-Kreh tree farm in Stuart.
