   Barry Scott Dillon, age 49 of Patrick Springs, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at his home.  He was born in Patrick County on February 17, 1972.  He was preceded in death by his father, Hardin Dillon.  Barry loved hunting, fishing, and cooking for family and friends. Barry loved being a dad, “Papa Barry” to Mackenzie and was affectionately called “Big B”.  

          Mr. Dillon is survived by one daughter, Kayla Marie Dillon of Spencer; one granddaughter, Mackenzie Rae Fain; his mother, Dora Belle Owens Dillon of Patrick Springs; four siblings, Terrie Corns of Patrick Springs, Jennifer Dillon, Marty Dillon, Doug Dillon all of Spencer; three nephews, Chris Miller and wife Deanna of Patrick Springs, Robbie Miller and wife Leann of Bassett, Ryan Bowman of Spencer; five great nieces and nephews, Miranda, Landon, Trenton, Eli and Levi Miller.  

          A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in Old Spoon Creek Church Cemetery with Bob Bottoroff officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jeb Stuart Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 340, Patrick Springs, VA  24133.  The family will gather at the home of his sister, Terrie on Taylor View Drive.  Moody Funeral Home in Stuart has been entrusted with the arrangements.
