The Patrick County High School Lady Cougar softball teams will be hosting a benefit game for Hannah Beasley and her family April 8.
Hannah is a Lady Cougar player who has been diagnosed with kidney cancer and is unable to play this season. Both Lady Cougar teams will be playing the Magna Vista Lady Warriors with the JV game starting at 5 p.m., varsity is to follow.
Both teams will be wearing orange and kelly green shirts, chosen by the Lady Cougars because they are Hannah’s favorite colors. The Lady Cougars will be wearing orange with kelly green writing; the Lady Warriors will be wearing kelly green shirts with orange writing.
Anyone interested in purchasing a shirt to support Hannah and help raise awareness of kidney cancer may contact the high school as soon as possible.
