Clarence Wesley Cauley of Patrick Springs was honored on May 27 with a dinner given by family to celebrate his 80th birthday. Wesley was born to Annie Cauley on May 31, 1937, in Martinsville. On March 1, 1957 he wed Sarah Inez Mabe, who remained his loving wife until her passing on July 18, 2006. He founded C.W. Cauley and Son, Inc. in 1978 and is a long-standing member of the Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church. He is also a charter member of the Patrick Springs Volunteer Fire Department. His children and their spouses are Charles and Joy Cauley and Wanda and Alan Campo. He has four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. His family thanks all those who attended the celebration.
