The annual Birthday Party for Maj. Gen. J.E.B. Stuart was held February 1, by the JEB Stuart’s Birthplace Preservation Trust, Inc. The Fisher Peak Timber Rattlers, an old-time band, provided music and dancing. Cake and lemonade, along with free hotdogs with all the fixings, coffee, sodas, and water were provided by members of the board. Speakers were Ronnie Haynes and actor Sam Winkler.
