Congratulations, Patrick County! We had another successful blood drive last Tuesday. I hope everybody voted Tuesday, too.
Thirty-seven units were collected with a goal of 39. That translates to helping as many as 111 people.
Thanks to all the donors who took time out of their day to do their part to help others in need. Your blood donations are critical to helping save lives. Please remember always that each donor is important and all units collected make a blood drive successful.
Dedicated volunteers working during the blood drive were Christine and Laura Citrano, Betty Holt, Michelle Boyd, Judy Sanburn, Patty Brunner, Jesse Mae Vernon and Everett Rakes. Thanks for all you do. I know the Patrick County donors appreciate the volunteers just as much as I do.
Thank you to Jessup and Associates for sponsoring this month’s blood drive.
Next month’s scheduled sponsor is Moody’s Funeral Home.
Next month’s blood drive is scheduled on Tuesday, April 5, at Rotary Field in the John D. Hooker Memorial Building from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Please consider giving blood. Make a difference in your life as well the lives as others.
Thank you again, Patrick County, for making March such a success.
Gene Stirewalt,
Patrick County Blood
