
During Blue Ridge Elementary School’s annual 7th Grade Awards Ceremony on May 20, 7th grader Bentley Stanley was honored with the prestigious Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Citizenship Award.
Presented by Ms. Jillian Jude, Blue Ridge Elementary 7th-grade teacher, the award recognizes students who exemplify leadership, citizenship, dependability, service, and patriotism.
Throughout his years at Blue Ridge Elementary School, Bentley has demonstrated strong character through his kindness, respect for others, positive attitude, and sound decision-making. He is a dedicated student who works hard academically and consistently serves as a positive role model for his peers.
As an athlete, Bentley enjoys baseball and has shown leadership both on and off the field, encouraging and supporting his teammates while setting a positive example. Coaches praise Bentley for his coachability, positive attitude, and willingness to accept constructive criticism, using feedback as an opportunity to grow and become a better teammate and player.
