The Blue Ridge Heritage, Inc. will host a trail building day at the Blue Ridge Heritage Education Center site near the Blue Ridge Parkway on Saturday, October 29 and again on Saturday, November 12 from 9 a.m. until noon.
Volunteers are welcome to help add to the natural surface trails being developed on the property. Trail building hand tools will be available as well as instruction on their use.
Come out and enjoy the outdoors while helping create additional trails that provide safe and scenic access to the natural resources of the Blue Ridge mountains. Participants will be asked to sign a waiver, please dress for the weather and bring gloves.
