obit kippleBonnie Banks Kipple, 81, of Kernersville, N.C., died Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Oak Forest Nursing and Rehab.
She was born June 28, 1935 in Patrick County and was a daughter of the late Thomas and Oneida Dunn Banks. She was also was preceded in death by one brother.
She was an active member of Kernersville Seventh Day Adventist Church, where she was a Sabbath school teacher and retired from Tri City Academy with over 20 years of service.
Surviving are her husband, Jack Kipple; three sons, Steve Kipple of Wallburg, N.C., James Kipple (Robin) of Pinnacle, N.C., and David Kipple of Greensboro, N.C.; four sisters, Annalee Shelor of Meadows of Dan, Bernice Puckett of Stuart, Jeanette Barton of Roanoke, and Patricia Knipple of Greensboro; one brother, Bill Banks of Meadows of Dan; and five grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at Kernersville Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastors Don Davis and Duane Peterson officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Puckett Family Cemetery in Stuart.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Memorials may be made to Tri-City Christian Academy, 8000 Clinard Farms Rd, High Point, NC 27265.
