Jessica Boyd of Ararat was named to the dean’s list in her first semester at Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Fla.
Dean’s list students must earn an average of a B or higher.
Jessica has excelled in sports as well as academics. In high school she scored 1,458 points while playing for the Surry Runnin’ Patriots basketball team. She is now a starter for the PCC Lady Eagles basketball team.
She is the daughter of Rodney and Sheila Boyd.
