The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Idelsonso Hernandez of Patrick Springs.
The bride was escorted by and given in marriage by her grandmother.
She wore an off-the-shoulder red lace knee-length dress, and carried a bouquet of red and white baby carnations. The bridegroom wore a red shirt, black tie and slacks.
The bride’s attendants were Tami Gandy and Brooke Spencer, both of Stuart.
Mason Carter, son of the bride, was the ring bearer and then stood as best man with his new father.
The bride is a nine year veteran of the U.S. Navy. She graduated from Concorde College of Nursing at Orange County, Calif., and is employed by Carilion Healthcare of Martinsville.
