Mr. C. Douglas Hall, age 77 of Claudville, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center in Galax. He was born in Patrick County on June 13, 1945, to the late Hampton Hall and Annie Belle Newman Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Pruitt, Mildred Roberson; one sister-in-law, Jennifer Hall; and three brothers-in-law, Glen Hill, C.D. Williams, and Edward Spence.

Surviving are five sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth Hill of Claudville, Mary Williams of Stuart, Mamie and Brad Burdic of Newbern, NC, Carolyn and Tommy Jessup of Claudville, Nellie Spence of Claudville; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Sammy and Janet Hall of Claudville, Willie Hall of Claudville, Mike Hall of Ararat; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Ricky Rogers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Old Mayo Mountain Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Old Mayo Mountain Church Cemetery Fund c/o Carolyn Jessup, 1482 Hatchers Chapel Rd., Claudville, VA 24076. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
