The Caring Hearts Free Clinic of Stuart is sponsoring its third annual Caring Hearts for Healthy Soles 10K and 5K Fitness Walk Saturday, February 20. Activities start at 10 a.m. at the Stuart site of Patrick Henry Community College.
Registration is open through February 7 for reduced entry fees: 10K is $30 and the 5K is $15. After February 7, and up to race day, registration fees will increase to $35 and $20, respectively.
The entry fee includes a marked course through town of Stuart, pre-registered runners guaranteed t-shirt, post-race soup or chili lunch, and awards (for 10K participants only).
Prizes will be given to the top three overall males and females, top male and female Masters, and top three couples. Awards will be given to top finishers in their individual brackets.
In the event of inclement weather, the alternate date will be Saturday, February 27.
Brackets will be split between male and female and in the following age divisions: 11 and under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Race organizers reserve the right to alter age group awards based on participation.
