Cathye Caye Childress Severn, 57, of Fieldale, died on Wednesday, July 13, 2016.
She was born on June 29, 1959, in Lynchburg to Sandra Gaye Childress and the late Winfred Ray Childress.
She was a graduate of Drewry Mason High School.
She is survived by her husband, William Ray Severn of Fieldale; daughters, April Severn Cannoy of Axton and Tracey Severn Keffer of Patrick Springs; brothers, Freddie Childress Jr. of Patrick Springs, Mike Childress of Axton, and Steven Childress of Walkertown, N.C.; sisters, Donna Durham of Fieldale and Sharon Long of Jacksonville, N.C.; and four grandchildren.
The funeral service was held Saturday at Norris Funeral Services Martinsville Chapel with Brother Mike Price officiating. Burial was at Mount Vernon Baptist Church cemetery.
