Chappell appointed manager of Carter Bank & Trust branches

Worth Harris Carter Jr., chairman of the Board and CEO of Carter Bank & Trust, is pleased to announce that Jill M. Chappell has been appointed branch manager of the Ararat office located at 4952 Ararat Highway in Ararat, and the Woolwine office located at 9747 Woolwine Highway in Woolwine.
Chappell is a native of Pilot Mountain, N.C., and a graduate of East Surry High School. She earned an associate degree in general education from Surry Community College in Dobson, N.C., and a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, N.C. Chappell will begin work on a master’s degree from West Virginia University this fall.
The veteran of over 10 years in banking resides in Mount Airy, N.C. She is an EMT-Advanced with the Cana Volunteer Rescue Squad, and attends Whitaker Chapel United Methodist Church in Pilot Mountain, N.C.Chappell, bank mgr
