Mr. Charlie Eugene Chaney, age 69 of Stuart, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. He was born in Ferrum, VA on February 14, 1955, to the late Amon Chaney and Hazel Mae Hall Chaney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Susie Beasley. Mr. Chaney loved Jesus and serving Him and wanted others to see Jesus in him. He was a wonderful husband of thirty-five years, an excellent brother, stepdad, and grandpa who will be sorely missed.

Left to cherish the memories of Mr. Chaney are his wife, Dorothy of the home; two daughters, Amy Pendleton (Nick), and Christy Handy (Barry), and one step son, Terry Stowe; four grandchildren, Elian and Christian Pendleton, Madison and Paul Handy; and two step grandchildren, Terry Lee Stowe and Kelly Humble; six siblings, Shirley Wright (Rickey), Betty McGuire (Gary), Mary Hall (Ronnie), Jimmy Chaney (Randi), Beadie Foree (Charles), and David Chaney; and one brother-in-law, Bill Beasley (Glenda).
