Christopher Jamal James, 25, of Roanoke died on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, of injuries received in an automobile accident.
He was born in Patrick Springs on December 18, 1990, and was a son of John and Kisha Dillard James.
He was owner/operator of Quality Logistics as a truck driver and a member of Agape Bible Christian Fellowship.
Surviving are his mother of Martinsville; his father of Martinsville; four brothers, Justin James of Martinsville; Nykeice James, and Jazon James, both of Bassett; and William Sloan, of Cascade; two sisters, Charnique (Demetrius) Inge and Monek James, both of Martinsville; grandfather, Odell Dillard of Martinsville; one god-son, Cameron Talley of Martinsville; and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at the Galilean House of Worship with Elder Alan Preston and Dr. C. Lee Hagwood officiating. Burial will follow in Carver Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the church one half hour prior to the funeral.
