According to the Patrick County Clerk’s Office, the following cases were adjudicated in March:
James Charles Anderson, of Claudville, was found guilty of assault and battery; sentenced to 12 months, all suspended, assessed costs.
Laura Becker Anderson, of Claudville, a charge of failure to appear was dismissed.
Archie Dale Belcher, of Stuart, was found not guilty of a charge of destroy property.
Brandon Duane Belton, of Madison, N.C., was found guilty of grand larceny and sentenced to 10 years, all suspended except 6 months; assessed $250 fine, costs and restitution.
April Christina Bieri, of Collinsville, was found guilty of misdemeanor embezzlement; sentenced to 12 months, all suspended except 1 day, assessed $100 fine and costs.
Richard William Blankenship, of Patrick Springs, was found guilty of assault; sentenced to five years, all suspended except 10 months, assessed $300 fine and costs.
Junior Cleve Campbell, of Collinsville, was found guilty of probation violation; probation revoked and re-suspended conditionally, assessed pay costs.
Bradley Keith Cassell, of Bassett, pleaded guilty to four counts of sale of a controlled Schedule I or II substance and one count conspiracy to sell controlled substance. Each carried a sentence of 10 years, all suspended, $500 fine and costs; pleaded guilty to tampering with alarm; probation revoked, re-suspended, assessed costs.
Michael H. Cheatham, of Patrick Springs, pleaded guilty to two counts of fraudulent conversion, and sentenced to a total of 10 years, all suspended except 30 days, assessed $400 fine, costs and restitution; found guilty of a failure to appear and sentenced to three days in jail and costs. Two counts of fraudulent conversion were not prosecuted.
Brian Clark, of Bassett, was found not guilty on a charge of plenary contempt.
Richard Darren Cobbler, of Spencer, was found guilty of assault and battery, sentenced to 12 months, suspended, assessed $500 fine and costs.
Jeanne Collins, of Stuart, a failure to appear charge was dismissed.
Summer Nicole Collins, of Martinsville, was found guilty of probation violation, probation revoked 9 months, assessed costs.
William David Fain, of Patrick Springs, was found guilty of probation violation, revoked 10 months, assessed costs.
Tony Thomas Foley, of Stuart, was found guilty of possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed costs, license revoked for 6 months.
Aubrey Adam Gibson, of Woolwine, was found guilty of disorderly conduct, assessed $200 fine and costs.
Brandy Renee Gwinn, of Stuart, was found guilty of sale of a Schedule I or II controlled substance; sentenced to 10 years, all suspended except 3 months, assessed $100 fine, costs and restitution.
Corey David Hammond, of Stuart, was found guilty of disorderly conduct, assessed costs. A failure to appear charge was dismissed.
Megan Leighanna Harter, Martinsville, found guilty to shoplifting, sentenced to 10 years, all suspended except 45 days, assessed $100 fine and costs; sentenced to 3 days in jail and assessed costs on a failure to appear charge that was taken under advisement.
William Beverly Hodges IV, of Critz, was found guilty of misdemeanor forgery, sentenced to 12 months, all suspended except time served, assessed costs and restitution; found guilty of petty larceny, sentenced to 12 months, all suspended except time served, assessed costs; found guilty of misdemeanor obtaining money by false pretense, sentenced to 12 months, all suspended except time served.
Corey C. Jamison, of Eden, N.C., was sentenced to 30 days and costs on a probation violation.
Dylan Lewis Jones, of Cana, case dismissed on charges of possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance.
Kenneth Ray Lockhart, of Patrick Springs, was found guilty of eluding police, sentenced to 12 months, all suspended, drivers license revoked 30 days, assessed costs; found guilty of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, sentenced to 12 months suspended, assessed $500 fine and costs.
David Doyle Looney, of Spencer, was found guilty of shoplifting, sentenced to 12 months suspended except 20 days, assessed costs and restitution; found guilty of possession of marijuana, assessed $50 fine and costs; found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia, assessed $50 fine and costs; found guilty of eluding police, sentenced to 5 years suspended except 5 months; found guilty of driving while license suspended, license revoked 90 days, 12 months suspended, assessed costs; found guilty of DUI, 12 months suspended except 10 days, assessed $1,000 fine with $350 suspended, ordered to attend ASAP, license revoked for 1 year.
Jovan Lamar Manns, Martinsville, found guilty of possession of a firearm by a felon, sentenced to 5 years all suspended but 2 years, assessed $500 fine and costs; not prosecuted on kidnapping and two counts of discharging a firearm in an occupied building.
Timothy Eugene McAdams, of Stuart, was found guilty of probation violation, revoked 30 days, assessed costs.
Shane Everett McMillian, of Ararat, was found guilty of assault and battery, sentenced to 12 months suspended except for 3 months, assessed $100 fine; found guilty of assault and battery, sentenced to 90 days all suspended except 1 day, assessed $100 fine and costs.
Morgan J. Nunn, of Claudville, was found guilty of probation violation, revoked all time, resuspended, assessed costs.
Garland W. Perry, of Martinsville, was found guilty of probation violation, revoked 30 days, assessed costs.
Casey Lynn Rogers, of Stuart, was found guilty of driving while license suspended, sentenced to 12 months suspended, assessed $100 fine and costs, license revoked 90 days; found guilty of eluding police, sentenced to 5 years all suspended except 7 months, assessed costs; found guilty of reckless driving, sentenced to 12 months suspended, assessed $100 fine.
Darnell Lashawn Salda, of Martinsville, was found guilty of failure to appear, sentenced to 5 days in jail, assessed costs.
Felicia Williams Schandel, of Martinsville, was found guilty of probation violation, revoked 6 months, assessed costs.
Kaitlyn Elizabeth Sink, Collinsville, charged with shoplifting, complied with conditions, case dismissed.
Andrew Wayne Smith, of Ararat, was found guilty of violating a protective order, sentenced to 5 years all suspended except 3 months, assessed costs; found guilty of assault and battery of a family member, sentenced to 12 months suspended except for 30 days, assessed $500 fine and costs; found guilty of grand larceny, sentenced to 10 years suspended except 6 months, assessed costs and restitution.
Sammy Wayne Smith, of Ararat, was found guilty of reckless driving, assessed $100 fine and costs; found guilty of driving while license suspended second offense, sentenced to 12 months suspended, assessed $200 fine and costs, license revoked 90 days; found guilty of eluding police, sentenced to 5 years suspended except 6 months, license revoked 6 months, assessed costs; found guilty of two counts of child abuse/neglect, sentenced to 5 years suspended except 1 month per count, assessed costs.
Ben Gregory Standridge, of Stuart, was found guilty of probation violation, all time revoked, re-suspension upon successful completion of Diversion Center program, assessed costs.
Larry William Thorton Jr., of Dry Fork, was found not guilty of an unauthorized use charge.
Michael Todd Withrow, of Bassett, was found guilty of probation violation, revoked and re-suspended conditionally.
John Andrew Wood, of Stuart, found was guilty of probation violation, court revoked probation for 3 months, assessed costs.
