Sheriff reports arrests

Patrick County Sheriff Dan Smith reported the following arrests:

  • April Irvette Millner, 37, of Martinville, was charged April 3, with possession of a firearm by a non-violent felon convicted within 10 years. Deputy Cole Newman made the arrest.
  • Brandi Davis Martin, 33, of Stuart, was charged April 4 with larceny. Deputy Brad Holt made the arrest for the Martinsville Police Department.
  • Watkins Olandus Penn, 40, of Martinsville, was charged April 4 with larceny. Deputy C. Gilbert made the arrest for the Martinsville Police Department.
  • Shannon Lynn Dunford, 33, of Martinsville, was charged April 4 with larceny. Deputy C. Gilbert made the arrest for the Martinsville Police Department.
  • Jamie Lee Lockhart, 27, of Stuart, was charged April 4 with drive while license suspended or revoked, third or subsequent offense. Deputy D.L. Foley made the arrest.
  • Paul Travis Greer, 33, of Ferrum, was charged April 4 with drive while license suspended or revoked, third or subsequent offense. Deputy J.G. Pickerel made the arrest.
  • Stacey Shelburn Rodgers, 41, of Bassett, was charged April 4 with driving while intoxicated and driving while license revoked: habitual offender drive without license and drive while intoxicated/manslaughter. Trooper P.W. Meade made the arrest.
  • Amanda Kay Young, 31, Martinsville, was charged April 5 with assault and battery. Investigator Danny L. Martin made the arrest.
  • Lance Alan Waldrop, 36, of Hattiesburg, Miss., was arrested for probation violation, indictment of distributing marijuana, indictment of possessing a Schedule III drug, and indictment of two counts of the sale of a Schedule I or II controlled substance. Deputy E.L. Litz made the arrest.
  • Charles Michael Rakes, 68, of Meadows of Dan, was arrested April 6 for possession of a firearm by a nonviolent felon not within 10 years of conviction and for reckless handling of a firearm, and carrying a concealed weapon. Deputy D. Hubbard made the arrest.
  • Chasity Michelle Woods, 38, was arrested April 6 for breaking and entering a building, unarmed. Deputy R.J. Williams.
  • Donald Lee McNeely, 54, of Bassett, was arrested April 6 for PB 15 (felony). City of Martinsville made the arrest for Patrick County.
  • Anthony William Clark, 37, of Drakes Branch, was arrested April 6 was arrested for capias: failure to appear. Deputy C. Gilbert made the arrest.
  • Steve M. Morrison, 60, of the Patrick County Jail, 60, was arrested April 7 for probation violation. Deputy C. Gilbert made the arrest.
  • Matthew C. Pagans, 32, of Martinsville, was arrested April 7 for three counts of issuing a bad check, less than $200. Deputy D. Dillion made the arrest.
  • Bartley Ray Lawson, 47, of Stuart, was arrested April 8 for assault on a family member and pointing/brandishing a firearm. Deputy D. Dillon made the arrest.
  • David Sobolewski, 38, of Meadows of Dan, was arrested April 9 for assault on a family member. Deputy D.L. Foley made the arrest.
